What are bitcoin confirmations?

Bitcoin Confirmations are essential in ensuring that a bitcoin transaction is verified and the bitcoins are legitimate . If it's confirmed, it means that the funds are safe to use and has been verified to be legit by minors. It usually takes from 15-30 minutes for a transaction to be confirmed, but it can take more than that. We require 6 confirmations—after 6 confirmations, the funds are confirmed to have been legitimate and cannot be reversed.
